With the acquisition of Winfield Rollers, Fenner Precision continues to set the standard as a global leader in the design, development and manufacture of timing belts and multi-v belts as well as machined pulleys, Winfield Rollers and silicone tires, all products necessary for paper propulsion applications including consumer printers, digital offset printers office machines, mail handling machines and money handling equipment.
The Fenner Group is headquartered in Hull, England. It was founded over 150 years ago and today has annual turnover approaching £400 million and employs over 3,700 people worldwide across five continents and more than 25 manufacturing plants.
Fenner Precision's roots go back to 1985. It was formed by combining the Fenner Drives Precision Division, USA with the James Dawson Precision Division, UK.
The company also has custom molding capabilities and uses these to develop engineered elastomeric products for diverse applications which in the past have included anti-vibration pads and offshore seals.
Fenner Precision has three manufacturing plants across two continents. Products are sold globally with sales and support offices in Lincoln UK, Manheim, USA, Buffalo, NY and Shanghai, China.
Fenner Precision designs and develops its own proprietary materials and processes, and is well known for its ability to produce large volumes of high quality belts on time and at competitive prices. The company is technically driven and recognizes the importance of research and development, and continually strives to improve products and processes through a global network of R & D Engineers, Polymer, Textile and Application Engineers.
The company also manufactures specialty technical fabrics for low friction and high temperature applications. Low friction PTFE / Phenolic fabrics are used in self lubricated bearings and high temperature glass / silicone fabrics are used in heater pads.
Fenner Precision is also committed to identifying and assessing the risks of pollution and other forms of environmental impairment arising out of its activities. It seeks to reduce its impact on the environment to the lowest practical levels, and with each new investment, ensure that it exemplifies the best contemporary practice in respect of the environment.
Fenner Precision is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fenner PLC. Other subsidiaries include Fenner Drives, manufacturer of drive products and James Dawson, manufacturer of silicone hoses.
