Low Friction Fabrics
Fenner Precision’s low friction Fenlon™ PTFE bearing liner fabric is used in self-lubricated bearings.
Bearing manufacturers incorporate Fenner Precision's low friction fabrics as dry lubricants in their bearings. Fenner Precision Fenlon™ PTFE bearing liner fabrics are coated with reinforcing thermoset resins and are custom-manufactured for self-lubricating plain bearings, slip clutches and drag brake applications.
Thermal Heater Pads
Silicone-coated fabric can be used in the manufacture of flexible heater pads, which are used in applications such as car seats, where flex is an important characteristic. While Fenner Precision does not manufacture the heater pads, its glass/silicone products are used by manufacturers in various applications. Unreinforced silicone sheets generally used in manufacturing terminal heater pad block connection points are also available.
