Developer Rollers
A Developer Roller transfers ink on to the drum in a precise manner similarly to a thin sheet ink layer (micron). It acts as metering device for liquid ink or dry toner.
Fenner Precision Developer Rollers are used in contact electro-photographic printing having a high resistance sprayed surface layer over a semi-conductive base elastomer. This gives excellent print performance independent of the movement speed of the printing members.
Fenner Precision’s market-leading chemists can custom design an elastomer to target your specific application. The liquid cast automated process line equipment ensures all compounds are high speed mixed, resulting in a very homogeneous finished product.
Developer Rollers have the following technical properties:
- Hardness is around 35 to 40SA, semi conductive 1E7 ohm-cm
- Optional as cast roller surface finish is mirror like , Ra & Rz is < 2 micron
- Special constructions for long life and maximum image impressions
