Cured and Un-Cured Silicone Material for Vacuum Molding

Fenner Precision develops and manufactures high quality silicone sheet for the construction of silicone vacuum bags. Silicone vacuum bags are normally used in VARTM (Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding) and SCRIMP (Seemann Composites Resin Infusion Molding) processes. These reusable silicone bags are a very cost-effective and environmentally conscious alternative to disposable plastic bags.

Both cured and uncured silicone materials are available and offer the following advantages:

  • Highly durable over a wide temperature range (-60°C to 200°C)

  • High elongation with low modulus
