High-Performance Grout/Tongue Seals
Fenner Precision manufactures Grout/Tongue Seals in partnership with Crux Products Limited for use in monopile type wind energy substructures in the offshore wind farm industry and oil & gas platform substructure installations. As a passive system, as opposed to alternative inflatable active systems, they have become the product of choice due to clear operational and cost advantages. These unique products have been successfully utilized in the construction of British wind farms such as 'Thanet', and also 'Greater Gabbard', which is due to become the world's largest ever offshore wind farm upon its completion.
Precision Engineered Parts
Fenner Precision's R&D engineers work in conjunction with turbine OEMs to develop custom engineered urethane moldings and rollers for specific wind turbine applications.
Environmentally Friendly, Reusable Silicone Bags
Silicone vacuum bags are reusable and are a very cost-effective and environmentally-friendly alternative to disposable plastic bags. Silicone material for Fenner Precision vacuum bags is available either cured or un-cured and offers high tear strength.
Fenner Precision's silicone vacuum bags can be used in various molding processes for the manufacture of wind turbine blades and lower generator housings, as well as boat, helicopter and airplane body composite molding. Fenner Precision also offers silicone coated fabrics, specially designed for blade de-icing heater pads.
