There are several advantages to using tires from Fenner Precision:
- Silicone tires have excellent high friction properties, and are primarily used in areas where positive feed is required with no slippage. The standard operating temperature range for Silicone tires is 230°C (446°F) to -60°C (-75°F).
- Polyurethane tires have excellent abrasion resistance and are primarily used in areas of high wear.
- EPDM tires are cost effective, but lack the unique high performance characteristics of silicone and polyurethane.
