A variety of special items have been provided under license to Crux Products Limited for use in the Offshore Oil & Gas and Offshore Wind Energy sectors. These items are used in the offshore construction/installation of the substructures supporting the facilities and turbines in these fields.
Crux Products has achieved a position of pre-eminence in these fields and the Grout Seal product particularly is used on the vast majority of Oil and Gas structures installed throughout the world where grouted connection of piles to substructures is employed. The reliability of the Grout Seals is much better than has previously been achieved by the systems it has replaced.
Another type of grout seal, a Tongue Seal, is now being provided in large size and large numbers for application on monopile type wind energy structures.
