Abrasion - The ability to withstand the effects of repeated wearing, rubbing, scrapping etc.
Coefficient of Friction - The static coefficient of friction is the ratio of the limiting friction force (F) developed to the corresponding normal pressure (N) when two surfaces move relative to each other. i.e C.O.F = F/N
Compression Set - The deformation that occurs when a tire is left in one position for long periods of time under high loads.
TIR (Total Indicator Reading) - Value derived (high to low reading) by a dial indicator, indicating the concentricity of the object.
