Silicone Coated Tyres

Fenner Precision has developed a high coefficient of friction silicone-coated tyre to improve the efficiency of media-feed within printing applications.

Our solution is designed to provide high-friction characteristics together with consistent performance across a wide temperature range. A high quality silicone base-tyre is coated with S47 silicone material, which can be scored with lateral grooves to aid dust-removal and enhance frictional grip. Silicone thickness and the depth and configuration of grooves can be specified to meet customers’ unique requirements.

Manufactured with two abrasion-resistant materials (Engineered Polyurethane Elastomers and Polyurethane Microcellular Foam Elastomers), our PU rollers can be custom-made for any unique application –giving you the exact fit, form, and function you need in the most cost-effective solution.

Cast polyurethane feature significant performance advantages over other molded polymers: 
• A broad spectrum of durometers, which can be selected and optimized for your specific application.
• Excellent wear and abrasion resistance properties.
